Advertising: Adverts are free.The Marketplace is for you to sell or give away any cycle related items that you have, or to see who is offering these things. Please keep it friendly and cycle-related. Do not sell or give away things you do not personally own. Adverts like "MAKE BIG MONEY" or "ENLARGE YOUR PENIS" will be removed and the associated IP address banned from the whole site.

It's easy to submit an advertisement. Choose the appropriate category. Select a photo from your computer to go with your ad. Write a title and a description for the ad. Complete the security check and you're done.

What to write: Consider including the following information in your ad.

Type of sale
Price
Make and model
Size and color
New, used or reconditioned
Service or warranty
Delivery details
Name, contact information
Any time limit for the sale

The simpler and clearer your ad, the more potential customers you will reach. You can modify your ad's text or replace the picture(s) at any time.

Removing ads: When you seal the deal, please remove your ad from the site by logging in, going to "My Ads", and deleting your sold item.

Registering: You need to register with the Marketplace to place advertisements. This is not hard. Fill in the required boxes and the system will send you an e-mail with your password. If you want to, you can change your password in the "My Profile" section.

Buying: "Caveat emptor" means "buyer beware!" If you buy items through the marketplace it is your responsibility to ensure that you are getting what you think you are getting before parting with your money. If you are in doubt, it might be wise to ask a friend for a second opinion.
